Brent Vawter — CBMC
PresidentPrior to connecting with CBMC in 2011, Brent was an independent marketing consultant, strategist and project manager working with Fortune 100 clients in virtually every industry, from energy to finance to healthcare and retail. Before his 20-year run in marketing, he spent a decade in operations and customer service with General Electric.
His focus on career achievement changed at age 30 when a man began meeting with him each week to help him grow in his relationship with Christ and discover God’s unique purpose for his life. Now decades later, Brent is passionate about doing the same for others.
Brent’s wife Paula is also in full-time ministry, and he has a son and daughter-in-law in Kansas. If he’s not meeting with some guy in a coffee shop or with Paula tending their vegetable garden, you’ll most likely find him on a backpacking trail in some mountain range, smelling like last night’s campfire!
Wes Lane — SALLT
Vice PresidentWes is known for his hope-infused leadership style. His gift in speaking to awaken people to a God that has not changed has led him to be a sought out speaker.
Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Wes received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Oklahoma. Wes is the former Chairman of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services Commission, former Oklahoma County District Attorney, and author of the book Amazingly Graced. Wes is married to Dr. Lori Hansen Lane, a facial plastic surgeon and Miss Oklahoma USA.
Joe Williams — Ret. The Signatry
TreasurerJoe Williams served as the President of the Oklahoma region of The Signatry – A Global Christian Foundation and as an elder at Henderson Hills Baptist Church in Edmond, OK. Williams was a community banker for over 33 years, serving most of those years as Bank President and CEO. Raised on a diversified farming operation in Western Oklahoma, Joe graduated from Oklahoma State University and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
Williams has served on the boards of, and in significant leadership positions with, Ministries of Jesus, Inc., a Christian health clinic in Edmond, OK, the El Reno (OK) City Council, Leadership Oklahoma, The Bankers Bank of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce, the Oklahoma Academy, the Oklahoma Bankers Association and the American Bankers Association. Joe has served as board member of Great Expectations since the beginning years in the early 1990s. He and his wife Susie have been married for 47 years. They have two grown daughters and six grandchildren.

Caylee Dodson — Restore OKC
Board MemberCaylee Dodson is one of USA TODAY’s Women of the Year, a recognition of women across the country who have made a significant impact.
In 2020, Restore OKC, of which Dodson is executive director, partnered with grocery chain Homeland to open a small market on the property that houses RestoreOKC’s headquarters and urban farm in the Creston Hills neighborhood. That temporary grocery outlet filled a niche at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020 and for some time afterward.
The store started as a dream with 16 high school students at Northeast Academy who had been working with Restore OKC. RestoreOKC is a community development ministry in northeast Oklahoma City and the
the recipient of the 2021-2022 Rotary Project – the Rotary Red Barn. Groundbreaking for the Rotary Red Barn was held June 11, 2022.
Board MemberBea Jai Webb — Formerly Whiz Kids
Bea Jai Webb served as Director of Whiz Kids Oklahoma, a mentoring program that partnered with local churches and businesses to serve over 800 students across 29 urban schools in its first 21 years. She led the organization's volunteer recruitment and community fundraising efforts.
