Fellowship, Appetizers, and Pathway to Communion
5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Come early to fellowship and walk through the Pathway to Communion to pray for our cities and prepare your heart for communion.
(See details below.)
Dinner, Program, and Communion
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
We will have a family-style dinner and unified gathering
to receive the elements of communion.
Plan to join us and invite your friends, family, neighbors, classmates, or colleagues.
At each station, we will reflect on God’s way versus our way and offer our written prayers to Him as a declaration of renewal and reset for our hearts to be unified.
Prayer • Returning our trust and dependence fully to God
Love • Choosing sacrificial care for one another
Unity • Walking in humility and reconciliation as one body
Shine • Courageously living and sharing the hope of the Gospel
Communion then becomes our shared declaration that Jesus has made the way, calling us to move forward together unified in faith, obedience, and hope for our cities.
Pathway to Communion
5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Pathway to Communion is a guided prayer experience rooted in Daniel 9, inviting us to intercede for our cities through the four pillars—Prayer, Love, Unity, and Shine—while also allowing the Lord to search our own hearts as we prepare to receive Communion.
Plan to be a part of the 2nd Annual City Communion event in 2026 on January 19th (Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday)
City Communion 2025 Program
You are a vital part of this annual gathering where we honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ together in unity as the Church of the City.
Here’s why we are gathering:
Declaring WE ARE ONE
Once per year, we will gather as one with followers of Jesus to acknowledge Him, make a unified declaration of love and service to God, one another, and His purposes for Oklahoma and the world.
Commune Together
During this special time, we will enjoy a meal together and then receive the elements of Communion in remembrance of all Christ has done for us.
Gather Together
The potential of the body of Christ is directly related to the strength of our relationship with God and with one another.
How to know if this is for you.
Save your place at the communion table if you . . .
Believe that we are one body in Christ Jesus.
Want to see God’s best fulfilled through His people—great and small.
Desire to see the body of Christ live out John 17:21 and touch the world with our unity.
